In order to give a Romanian 'flavour' to the content, about half of the songs are Romanian, the other half being well-known pieces (or themes) from the international repertoire. The orchestral arrangements belong to one of the best Romanian musicians, George Natsis. Patch assignments and the mixing were carried out by me - in my home studio. The photos are by my eldest brother, Ion Popescu-Argesel. Some people around me consider the saw as not being a real instrument or, in the best case, as being 'half' an instrument. The title 'Ambition' (given to this CD) comes from my ambition to make it, if possible, a 'full' instrument and, why not, even to become a 'virtuoso'.
